چکیده
Abstract The J-PARC Main Ring (MR) has supplied the high-intensity proton beam for T2K long-baseline neutrino experiment since 2010. present power is 510 kW and total number of protons on target reaches $3.64\times10^{21}$. To observe charge-conjugation parity-transformation (CP) violation in lepton sector with high accuracy, more need to be delivered target. project upgrade 1.3 MW started as a mid-term plan MR. In parallel preparing full technical design report, designs hardware upgrades using new technologies all accelerator components that are necessary deliver 1.3-MW summarized consolidated this short paper. Further, paper includes dynamics studies simulation results handling $3.3\times 10^{14}$ per pulse (ppp) without significant loss ring transport lines. Hyper-Kamiokande (HK) recently been approved, construction started; MR HK will work together efficiently study CP violation.

Construction of the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC), which consists of a 400 MeV Linac, a 3 GeV Rapid Cycling Synchrotron (RCS), and a 50 GeV Main Ring (MR), commenced in 2001. J-PARC is a multipurpose accelerator complex. The RCS uses 1 MW proton beams to generate pulse neutrons that will be used for various research projects ranging from basic science to applied science at ...
متن کاملPower Upgrade of J-parc Linac
The linac power upgrade program is now in progress, after a successful recovery from the earthquake disaster. The power upgrade includes an ion source, a RFQ, and a 400 MeV annular-ring coupled structure (ACS) linac. We started a full-scale development of a cesium-seeded RFdriven negative hydrogen ion source. The ion source extracted a beam current of more than 60 mA with a duty factor of 2.5 %...
متن کاملAccelerator Design for a 1⁄2 Mw Electron Linac for Rare Isotope Beam Production
TRIUMF, in collaboration with university partners, proposes to construct a megawatt-class electron linear accelerator (e-linac) as a driver for radioactive beam production for nuclear structure and astrophysics [1] and material science. The design strategy, including upgrade path, for this cost-effective facility is elaborated. The 50 MeV, 10 mA, c.w. linac is based on TTF superconducting (SC) ...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
